“After Everything” (2023) is the fifth installment in the “After” film series, continuing the tumultuous love story of Hardin Scott and Tessa Young. Following their breakup, Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) struggles with writer’s block and alcoholism, unable to produce a follow-up to his best-selling novel.

Encouraged by his mother to make amends for past wrongs, he travels to Lisbon to seek forgiveness from Natalie (Mimi Keene), a woman he wronged in his youth.

Through this journey, Hardin gains insights into his past behaviors and begins to heal. Upon returning to the U.S., he reunites with Tessa (Josephine Langford) at a mutual friend’s wedding.

After heartfelt apologies, they rekindle their relationship, culminating in Hardin’s proposal. The film concludes with a flash-forward, showing Hardin and a pregnant Tessa happily together, indicating a hopeful future for the couple.

“After Everything” was released in select theaters in the United States on September 13, 2023, by Voltage Pictures. Fathom Events held special screenings of the film in the U.S. on September 13 and 14, 2023.

Internationally, it was released in select countries beginning September 13, 2023. The film was made available through video on demand in the U.S. on October 3, 2023.

It was also available on Amazon Prime Video in the United Kingdom and France on October 3, and in Australia and New Zealand on October 6.
